Memorial Day Weekend...

In my attempt to catch up with my blog, I'm quickly posting the pictures below in random order.
It was a much needed relaxing weekend.
I woke up Sunday morning and while browsing the ads I came across a water table at Target for $25.
That simple purchase along with a water hose provided hours of entertainment.
Monday was a repeat of Sunday.
In fact, the weekend seemed to repeat itself.
We spent two afternoons in the front yard and two evenings on the bay enjoying live entertainment and fireworks.
At some point it will be harder to entertain three kids this easily so I'm enjoying it while it lasts!

Congratulations, Sam!

Sam completed his Master's Degree and we thought it would be good for the kids to see him graduate.
The boys were so proud when they heard everyone clapping for their Daddy.
It was a very sweet moment.
Although I must admit that I was a little teary-eyed, I couldn't have been happier.
It will be nice to have more time with him...
no more competing with his textbooks or watching him write papers.
I'm very proud of him...

Friday Night Fun...

Here's some pictures from a few recent Friday nights.
The best part about this time of year is living so close to the beach.
We've been trying to end our week this way so if you're looking for us on a Friday night at about sunset, it's likely that you'll find us here.

Our Happy and Healthy Princess!

Here's a few recent pictures of our happy and healthy baby.
She went to the cardiologist and her echo revealed great results.
Generally I leave her appointments feeling somewhat anxious, but this was clearly the most positive and anxiety relieving appointment ever.
Everything looks good including her pulmonary valve and pulmonary arteries.
Her cardiologist believes it is highly unlikely that Gabby should ever need another open heart procedure.
He will put her back on Digoxin when she's about 10, but even if she needs further intervention down the road it would likely be an outpatient procedure through her groin. This would mean she would literally leave the hospital with just a band-aid :)

This is one of her favorite toys lately.
After placing each bead, she claps for herself.

She loves dresses and I hope this lasts since she's my only girl.

This is probably the only time she's ever watched TV for more than a few minutes.
I didn't like the fact that she was sitting on the table, but I didn't want to disturb her.
I have to limit the amount of time the boys watch TV, but I can't get her to sit down long enough for me to empty the dishwasher.

She was enjoying the opportunity to annoy her brothers by sitting on their spaceship.
She can be so devious. Thankfully they let her get away with it sometimes.

When I noticed that her outfit matched this sea creature, I just had to snap a few pictures.

She's still loving our mom and tot learning program.
Painting and coloring are probably two of her favorite activities

She also loves their playground equipment.

A trip to the grocery store afterwards.
It's pretty bad when we're there so much that she starts saying "cookie" as soon as we pull in the parking lot.

She's such a girl.
When she finds a piece of my jewelry, she knows just where to put it.

Finally... here's a kiss from Gabby!

Lemonade: 10 cents!

We had a garage sale last weekend.
It's been years since we've had one so I'd forgotten how much fun it could be.
We had a lemonade stand to keep the kids busy and they can't wait to do it again.

We don't generally give Gabby anything other than milk and water so when she discovered lemonade she started drinking the profits!

She didn't even spill a drop!

Gavin, Zach and Vivi taking a break from their job.

Gabby wasn't sure what to think of all the toys in the front lawn, but she took the opportunity to enjoy them one last time.

Now we're rejoicing over a decluttered house and $400 in profits.

Maybe we should do this more often.
